Summary
Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) Duncan School of Law is seeking a dedicated Academic and Bar Success Faculty Member to join our team in a non-tenure track, term appointment as an Assistant Professor. This year-round role will focus on teaching, course development, and programming designed to improve academic and bar exam performance.
Role & Responsibilities
The faculty member, working closely with the Directors of Academic and Bar Success, will:
- Teach and assist in developing academic and bar success courses
- Design and deliver workshops and resources to support student learning
- Contribute to innovative programming that promotes student achievement
- Serve on University and Law School councils and committees as appointed or elected
Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Bar membership in any U.S. jurisdiction (inactive status acceptable)
- Demonstrated ability to devise, coordinate, and implement innovative programming
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong personal record of academic achievement
- Commitment to working with students in and out of the classroom to improve academic and bar performance
- Experience in data collection, data management, and basic statistics
