Asset Data Management Senior Advisor
Summary
The Asset Data Management Senior Advisor is responsible for leading asset data remediation strategies and sustainable solutions, including the development of a Digital Twin for the power grid. This role collaborates with IT to implement system enhancements, address root causes, and design automation and field tools to detect and permanently cleanse asset data records. The position ensures data quality, compliance, and effective information governance practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
Oversee customer fraud prevention activities, mitigate privacy incidents, and monitor misuse of customer information.
Develop and review information governance policies, standards, presentations, communications, and training.
Prepare materials for internal/external audits, external assessments, and regulatory reporting related to information management.
Ensure projects align with information governance policies and standards.
Contribute to assessments of emerging technology platforms and new service offerings.
Provide complex input to strategic business initiatives within the information governance practice.
Lead coordination of data quality remediation plans where data fails to meet established standards.
Support the development and maintenance of an information governance framework integrated with organizational guidance and processes.
Participate in business continuity policy development and process mapping.
Lead efforts ensuring compliance and support of corporate records, information management, and data privacy programs.
Ensure adherence to standards of conduct and integrity when managing sensitive financial, customer, and cybersecurity-related data.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Ten or more years of experience with information governance and data management practices and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with GIS, including analysis in ArcGIS Pro.
Experience leading cross-functional project teams.
Strong presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Experience developing tools within ArcGIS Online (AGOL), such as Experience Builder, Survey123, Field Maps, and Dashboards.
Experience working with LiDAR data, point cloud classification, and analysis.
Consulting experience on business issues, including data analysis, SME engagement, and actionable recommendations.
Operational experience within the utility industry.
Experience developing business cases for project proposals, including quantifying qualitative benefits.
Knowledge of Records Management Systems (e.g., SAP, Palantir, ArcGIS, SAS).
