Job Opportunity The town of Cedarville is seeking a qualified leader to serve as Chief of Police. This role is responsible for managing staff, programs and policies, and law enforcement operations that include; overseeing patrol, investigations, and community policing initiatives. The Chief of Police is also responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with city citizens and a variety of stakeholders providing a high level of services to the community. Qualifications: Must be a certified police officer Must have at least 10 years experience as a police officer and/or less with Chief experience Must have at least 5 year experience in a police officer leadership position. Must have, or are in compliance with, all Arkansas officer requirements. Salary: The hiring salary for the Chief of Police, at this time, is $30,240.00 a year (part time with 30 hours a week) and includes sick and vacation days.
