Requirements
- Assist attorneys in managing family law cases from inception to resolution
- Draft, prepare and review legal documents including petitions, discovery materials, and settlements
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information as needed
- Maintain organized case files and ensure all documentation is up to date
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Schedule appointments, hearings, and mediations to keep cases moving forward
- Provide administrative support, including managing calendars and filing documents with the court
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies or a related field
- 2+ years of experience working as a paralegal, preferably in family law
- Strong understanding of family law principles and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
