Description
This part-time position is open to retired officers who wish to return to service on a limited basis. Officers will assist with patrol and related duties while maintaining their retirement benefits.
Requirements
Requirements
Must have retired within the last five (5) years or still hold a current DCJS certification.
If still employed, must complete the Deferred Retirement Option Program (DROP) before eligibility. (If DROP was not completed, a minimum separation period of 12 months is required.)
Must be separated from service for at least one pay cycle; eligible to apply after 30 days.
