• Be part of a global initiative to establish a world-class Security Operations Center (SOC) in Japan
• Lead and define over 30+ security initiatives that will set the standard for cybersecurity operations
• This is a multi-year transformation program with high visibility and long-term stability

As a Cybersecurity Program Manager, you'll join a newly forming team of 6-8 security experts tasked with building and operationalizing a global security framework. You'll work closely with global and regional stakeholders to define strategy, run initiatives, and implement best-in-class security practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead security initiatives and transformation projects across Japan and global teams.
• Define and implement security controls, KPIs, and governance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO).
• Collaborate with the Global CISO and UK-based program leadership to align strategy and execution.
• Develop project initiation documents, reports, and change frameworks.
• Oversee third-party risk assessments and integrate them into the broader security ecosystem.

What You Bring

• 8-15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in program or project management.
• Proven experience in large-scale security transformations, ideally in financial services.
• Deep understanding of security operations, including firewalls, IDS, and network architecture.
• Familiarity with governance frameworks and risk management methodologies.
• Strong communication skills in Japanese (English is a plus).
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
