The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safety and security operations of the hotel during evening shifts. This hands-on role responds to emergencies, ensures security protocols are followed, documents incidents, and supervises the security team in the absence of the Director of Security. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and able to lead by example while maintaining a strong guest service approach.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily activities of the security team during assigned evening shifts.
• Respond promptly and effectively to guest, staff, and building emergencies.
• Conduct routine patrols of hotel premises and report any irregularities.
• Complete accurate and timely incident reports and ensure proper documentation.
• Monitor surveillance systems and hotel access points.
• Assist in training and coaching security officers to maintain hotel standards.
• Serve as the acting supervisor in the absence of the Director of Security.
• Coordinate with hotel leadership and local authorities when needed.
• Support and promote a safe, welcoming environment for all guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a security role; hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience is a strong asset.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and report-writing skills.
• Must be able to work evening shifts with flexibility for weekends and holidays.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Physically able to stand, walk, and respond quickly across various hotel areas.
