Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Professional Services team at Marsh. This role will be based in New York City or Chicago. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.What can you expect:
• Becoming a member of Marsh's best in class FINPRO team who delivers expert broking & strategy solutions to help manage risk with confidence.
• In this Sr. Client Advisor role, you will develop an understanding of the clients' business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs to help provide knowledge and advice to complex clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with underwriters, and is involved in the placement of sophisticated insurance programs
• Help identify the need for new products and develop innovative solutions for clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, and is the primary point of contact for day-to-day service needs.
• Complete policy management activities and delivery of reviewed policies to clients and help address client inquiries as necessary.
• Deliver technical expertise and take the lead role in presentations and RFP's
We will count on you to:
• Independently oversee and manage large or complex accounts and bring the entire team together to formulate the procedure and go to market strategy.
• Works to maintain a near complete understanding of the clients' business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs to provide advice accordingly to successfully serve clients.
• Utilizes expert risk expertise and knowledge of industry and insurance market place to review clients' exposures and loss experience and develop solutions for complex clients' needs, including recommending additional products and services as solutions.
• Present to prospective clients, identify the need for new products, develop/suggest innovative solutions to client and client team members to gain new clients and projects.
• Oversees the production of client deliverables and delivering the final placement to the client to ensure the quality of materials delivered to clients.
• Engage in independent senior-level client interaction and demonstrates expertise in problem solving, areas of coverage and client relationships.
• Develop strong working relations with carriers and or underwriters. Submit coverage specifications and obtain quotes from carriers, ensure that coverage is bound and be responsible for the accuracy of bound programs. Receive and analyze quotes from carriers and provide analysis and recommendations.
What you need to have:
• 10+ years industry experience
• Financial and Professional liability experience a must
• P&C license a must, or ability to obtain
• Bachelors' degree preferred

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $149,000 to $317,300.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
