Location Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Security in the Department of Information Systems and Security with a preferred start date of August 2027. This is a nine-month contracted position and is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
Teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in the technical aspects of cybersecurity
Research and scholarship in the area of expertise
Professional service to the Department, College, and University.
The standard teaching load is 3/3 but is negotiable and can be reduced to 3/2 or 2/2 based on research productivity. Coles College flexibly allows summer support for new faculty for up to 3 years.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
A doctorate, or the foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline, is required at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants with a doctorate degree earned from an AACSB accredited college/school.
Record of prior teaching experience (in-person, online, or hybrid courses).
Documentation of technical skills in cybersecurity.
Record of research accomplishments.
