Accredited by eight independent state and national entities, the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) is widely regarded as one of the most progressive and proactive law enforcement agencies in the state. A full-service criminal justice agency, SCSO is among only a few that deliver law enforcement patrol and investigative services, operate the county’s correctional facility, manage both a juvenile assessment and detention center, and conduct child protection investigations. With a workforce of more than 1100 full-time and 150 part-time employees, the Sheriff’s Office offers a variety of exciting and diverse career paths for sworn, certified and civilian personnel.
